Now that Joolca have sorted new cap and washers for the urine tank this toilet is great
NZ self-containment certification may be problematic due to some certifiers needing more urine tank capacity to PASS Green Warrant. But the tank actually easily holds 6 litres which will meet a 2 person SCV cert for FREEDOM CAMPING in NZ. We have both composting and chem options and will easily get a cert [NOT from NZMCA] for 2 - 3 pers with our set up. BOLTED to fixing plate and put onto sliding rails so its permanently fixed. Love it

R-The setup is different too wat I was shown. The Urine empty cap. I removed it and there was No hole to pore so I poured from in IN spout. Do I Drill it out. I can send photos. Secondly, the Waste chamber emptying has changed. No bracket as shown when I bought it. s mine and older version or a newer version.

This has been revolutionary for our camper.
We’ve been using it for several months now and it’s just so easy. I will say, wee (see what I did there?) learning curve for us females. Where you sit makes a huge difference. No smell! So easy to empty. We’re in NZ and we’re struggling with the new fixed toilet rules. This sorted that. And the customer service is the best ever.

The Gotta Go is a Gotta HAVE! 🙌🏼
We’ve had the opportunity to use the Gotta Go on three different outings now. We absolutely LOVE IT!! Two these last trips had temperatures in the high 80s.(F) And nary a malodorous whiff was detected!! We use the composting container version lined with a bag. I line the inside of the bag with a bit of pet pine shavings to help absorb, moisture and odor and sprinkle a bit on top after each “deposit”. 💩 We also use a small, sealed wastebasket for the used TP to keep the bin from filling too quickly. Even after five days use it still had room for more! (My husband still enjoys his “woods walks” haha. But I prefer the comfy seat over squatting..)
We normally house the Gotta Go inside the dry room of the Joolca double ensuite which works great! But I’ve also just set it up next to the door of the teardrop using a privacy curtain attached to the awning. On travel days, the unit gets strategically placed in the back of our truck bed which has a canopy. The canopy has tinted windows on the outside and curtains on the inside, so all I have to do is climb in, shut the hatch and do my business! This has saved me on more than one occasion when the rest stops were too far in between!
The Gotta Go has been a camping Godsend when ya just GOTTA GO!! 👍🏼

Camp stool!

I received this from pre-order and it sat all winter Finally was able to use it and was well worth it. It does not feel like a camping toilet.

As good as it gets! Awesome

Finally got the chance to test out the GottaGo 🚽🚻🧻For a camping toilet it’s absolutely awesome! It’s a good as you can get I believe Pros: ✅• It really doesn’t smell like a mixed toilet. Off course your gonna have some smell when you open the poopa hole but I always belive in a healthy diet means it won’t smell so bad, especially for urine. S***t is gonna stink because it’s a form of detoxing your body• The seals are awesome• The quality and sturdiness of the overall toilet is awesome• The divider is a great idea in aiding the Seperation • Large toilet seat• The type of plastic used in the inside of the toilet helps in a easy clean up! I forgot the vinegar but water and some toilet paper worked fine anyway• Great height! I was worried it would be too low but my knees are slightly up but I’m comfortable and apparently that helps the colon anyway so no need for a poop stool hahaha (I’m 170cm tall) and for my partner (185cm tall) thighs are comfortably flat• When they bring out the bag or if people get the porta pottie bag … you can even leave it in the bag and pick it up for easy removal if you only have one bathroom/shower tent like me at the moment My personal cons: 📈📉• The hinge for the lid of the toilet seat is too high up so if you are a bigger/taller/longer/wider whatever person you may press on that area and it may become weak over time. Easy fix would be to detach it and or screw a handle to the top of it like a American trash can style lol• The divided in the middle is a bit high, my skinny bum kinda touches it if I lean back and if your half way through pooping it may get on there so you might end up with a poopy line across your cheeks but you’ve gotta wipe anyway and it’s just about practicing your aim. The divider is a great idea I belive tho• You do have to aim for number 2’s but by the weekend was over I pretty much had it down pat 😂• Men may have better aim with number 1’s but 99% they can just go anywhere• Girls, you gotta just tilt those hips forward for number 1’s cause you know we wee in all directions hahaha• My larger partner is worried about no 2’s and the possibility of “snapping it off” hahaha but that’s what the s**t stick is for. The hole is plenty big enough to slide those morning bogs through so you’ll be fine. • The instructions for the bag option I was a little confused as there wasn’t many pictures showing you how to open the metal tabs and pulling off the blue frame but I figured it out. It talks you through it. The rest of the instructions were perfectly clear• The toilet seat is sort of rounded not so flat so it’s a little uncomfortable for a bony bum but hey it’s a luxury having a toilet so you know you can’t conplain to much about for having luxuries Conclusion: 👏• I’m so happy with it. We’ve tried a few toilets over the years. I purchased this as well be using it for camping and in our bus build for glamping and off grid camping. I’m still waiting for the chemical cassett but I know what they are like already from previous toilets we’ve had Just a reminder for people as a personal opinion … don’t use flushable wipes as they don’t break down, even the biodegradable ones take yeeeaaaars. This is for digging a whole or the toiletEither way bury your damn buisness. Nobody wants to see that when they rock up to camp. So many places getting closed because of lazy peopleEnjoy crapping everyone 😂😂😂💩

I love this toilet it is such a fantastic upgrade from my old cassette toilet. I use it as a comp...

I like best that it is a composting toilet and that the solids and liquids are separated .
